Denali collects food waste from supermarkets, restaurants, food manufacturers and distribution centres and operates depackaging and composting facilities across the United States. Recovered material is processed into compost, animal feed and biofuels.

Divert, Inc. operates integrated food-waste facilities that use depackaging equipment and anaerobic digestion to process unsold food from retailers, distributors and manufacturers into renewable natural gas and fertiliser. It also runs edible-food donation programmes on behalf of its customers.

Vanguard Renewables operates depackaging facilities and farm-based anaerobic digesters that take pre-consumer packaged food and beverage waste from manufacturers and convert it to biogas. Separated packaging materials such as glass, cardboard, plastic, steel and aluminium are sorted for recycling.
