Sturgeon Electric is an MYR Group subsidiary that builds high-voltage substations, switching stations, gas-insulated switchgear and interconnect stations from 34.5kV to 765kV. Its Phoenix office on East Watkins Street runs the transmission and distribution side of the business for Arizona. Linxon delivers turnkey alternating current substations and holds the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the Arizona Public Service 230 kV Goodyear substation, which supports a data-centre expansion in the Phoenix area.
